North Korea to deploy the nuclear missiles.

Speaking at a commemoration of the Korean War, Mr. Kim also said that the nation was "totally prepared for any military confrontation" with the US, according to state news agency KCNA. The remarks come amid worries that North Korea may be getting ready for its seventh nuclear test. The US issued a caution about Pyongyang's potential for such a test last month. 2017 saw North Korea conduct its most recent nuclear test. On the Korean peninsula, though, tensions have been increasing.

What is a nuclear weapon?

An explosive device that derives its destructive power from nuclear fusion, nuclear fission, or a combination of the two is referred to as a nuclear weapon. Atom bombs, atomic bombs, A-bombs, nuclear bombs, nuclear warheads, and simply "nuke" are several names for nuclear weapons. Fission and combination weapons and even more destructive fusion-based designs, which are technically thermonuclear weapons but are more often known as thermonuclear bombs, fusion weapons, hydrogen bombs, or H-bombs, are the two main categories into which all nuclear weapons fall. Massive volumes of heat and radiation, as well as explosive force measured in kilotons (1,000 tons of TNT) and megatons (1,000,000 tons of TNT), are released by nuclear weapons. They have the potential to cause more death, destruction, harm, and illness than any other weapon, making them without a doubt the most terrifying weapons on Earth.

Estimated nuclear weapons made till date

There are thought to be 13,080 nuclear warheads in existence right now. Although this number is considerably lower than either the United States or Russia had at the height of the Cold War, it is noteworthy that there are now more nuclear-armed nations than there were 30–40 years ago. With an estimated 6,257 total warheads, Russia has the most nuclear weapons in existence right now. The START II treaty currently limits both the United States and Russia to a total of 1550 deployed forces. Of these, 1,458 are currently deployed, 3039 are inactive but could be activated, and 1,760 are retired and awaiting dismantlement. With 5,550 nuclear weapons in total—1,389 active, 2,361 inactive but ready, and 1,800 scheduled for destruction—the United States is not far behind. By the date today most of the countries have nuclear weapons and these countries with the nuclear weapons are known as nuclear powers.

Russia — 6000+

United States — 5500+

China — 500+

France — 290+

United Kingdom — 220+

Pakistan — 200+

India — 200+

Israel — 100+

North Korea — 50+

North Korea is the growing nuclear power and as the country is isolated from the world so it is hard to say the exact number of nuclear weapons they owe and how and where they are making and testing their nuclear weapons.

Sung Kim, the US's special envoy to North Korea, claims that the country has tested 31 missiles this year, more than double the previous record-breaking year's total of 25. In retaliation, South Korea fired eight of its own missiles in June. It is not known till date that weather North Korea is planning the nuclear weapon test or not ? And what actually the Kim Jong um wants?

North Korea declares victory over the US in the 1950–1953 Korean War, despite the fact that it ended in a truce. Military parades, pyrotechnics, and dancing highlight the yearly "Victory Day" celebrations. In his speech to commemorate the occasion, Mr. Kim stated that North Korea must complete the "urgent historical duty" of strengthening its self-defense due to nuclear threats from the US. He noted that the US had mischaracterized North Korea's routine military drills as provocations. Mr. Kim also seemed to respond to rumors that South Korea is reviving a strategy to counter the nuclear threat from North Korea by undertaking preventative strikes in the case of an impending attack.

Pre-emptive strikes against Pyongyang's missiles and possibly its top leadership are recommended by the so-called "Kill Chain" policy, which was first developed a decade ago. It comes with its own dangers and might spark an arms race, according to some analysts. Mr. Kim declared during the Victory Day celebration that preemptive strikes would "obliterate" Yoon Suk-government yeol's and military in South Korea.

Does North Korea want to start the actual war over the decades long cold war?

It's really unsettling to hear Kim Jong-Un warn that the Korean peninsula is "on the verge of war." However, North Korean rhetoric may be quite abrasive, especially around important anniversaries. It shows how enraged the North Korean leadership is with Yoon Suk-yeol, the country's new president. President Yoon has outlined a new, more robust defense policy since taking office in May. If Seoul feels Pyongyang is about to launch a nuclear attack on it, it would allow South Korean forces to strike the North before Pyongyang could.

With the use of this so-called "Kill Chain" approach, South Korea would be able to attack North Korean targets beforehand with ballistic missiles and airstrikes, including destroying their command and control centers. Attempting to kill Kim Jong-Un directly, in other terms. Pyongyang is also dissatisfied with Washington's lack of involvement ever since President Biden took over for Donald Trump. All of these might indicate that the North is planning an intentional escalation of the situation. In the near future, everyone anticipates that Pyongyang will conduct its seventh underground nuclear test. The Punggye-ri test site has been getting ready since March.
